There’s nothing quite as rewarding as being in a show. From bonding with castmates to the exhilaration of a well-deserved applause, performing offers fun, community, and creative expression.

Welcome to AfterWork Theater Project, a community where everyday people can enroll to perform in fully-staged musicals and plays in New York City. No audition required. Rehearse one to three times per week, depending on your availability, and then perform for audiences of family, friends, and more. 

We’ve assembled a Broadway-caliber creative team. We’ve booked a beautiful theater in Midtown Manhattan. Now all we need is you. 

Last season we took on Hair: the American Tribal Rock-Love Musical and the results were simply astounding. 

This season we are ecstatic to be performing Jonathan Larson’s pulitzer-prize winning rock musical RENT - school edition.
